gemütlicher song aus dem 2004-er album "Crosby & Nash " | | *****
Ziemlich ruhig groovender Song, der zunächst mit einschmeichelnden synkopisch gesetzten Akustikgitarrenklängen zu gewinnen weiß. Dazu die gefühlvolle Stimme David Crosbys. Langsam aber sicher entwickelt sich daraus zielsicher ein Bandarrangement, dass aber zu keiner Zeit überladen wirkt. Teilweise kommen bei mir Assoziationen zu den Beatles.
Allerdings bleibt die Melodie trotz sehr anheimelnd klingender Stellen schwer im Kopf. Ebenso unvermittelt stoppt der Song mitten in einer Zeile.
Ich bin fasziniert, aber zugleich auch ziemlich ratlos. Ist das ein wirklich guter Song? Ich glaube - ja... | | |
