Also ganz so schlecht finde ich den Song eigentlich nicht. Gefällt mir vom Stil her weniger, es fehlt etwas die Melodie bei dem Genre, aber es gibt Schlimmeres, hat noch Groove. Abgerundete 3. | |
I remember not liking Big Sean at all when I first came across his name, I like that I've gotten to the point where I enjoy him more often than not. I guess you could say my opinion has bounced up (not really back though) :P Perhaps it also helps that in "Bounce Back" he sounds like Drake, someone who's music I've had far less hesitations to? I'd say my favourite thing about this track is the way Sean keeps things interesting, I don't get bored of his rapping at all. The more intense parts seem well fitted to the beats too, which I can dig. I hope it can bounce back and achieve a top 50 chart peak in Australia (although it can stay below the peak that "I Don't Fuck With You" reached) :P | |

Perhaps reflective of hip-hop's dominance in the charts, but it became quite a shock for Big Sean to nab his first top 10 hit in 2017 with this. Or maybe it's not a shock. It's just as catchy as previous singles, but perhaps less novelty to put people off. I still find his flow at times to be oddly reminiscent of Drake's on "6 Man", but apart from that it's super infectious and begs to be sung along even if you're like me and certainly have never woken up IN BEAST MOOOOOODE. Suffice to say, I've gotten a lot of enjoyment out of this. | |
