Ich habe verzweifelt auf den großen Refrain gewartet, den das monumentale Arrangement in den Strophen (Orchester!) andeutet. Dann kommt eine relativ harmlose Bridge, die wieder in die Strophe zurückführt. Schade, der Zug hätte noch anders abgehen können. | |

Kürzlich feierte er ja auch schon den 70er. Hier klingt er so gar nicht nach Boss, aber seinem Alter entsprechend. Als zweite Single auch ohne Peak geblieben. | |
I've long been a fan of Bruce, and I'm always eager to hear new music from him, so his latest album was definitely a must-listen for me. This one was the immediate standout in my eyes, with the "My baby's coming in on the Tucson train" line that ends each chorus being a really great attention-grabbing hook. But really it's the instrumental work which elevates this song; the guitar is great and I love the use of the horn, however everything else is eclipsed by the violins here, which are not only perfectly suited to the tone of the track, but command attention. Another impressive effort from Bruce who is losing nothing as he ages. | |
