Ontzettend vervelende plaat van Maroon 5. Krap vier minuten lang is dit alleen maar herhaling met al die rare uithaaltjes van Levine. Het enige spannende is nog als Future opeens komt opduiken, al kan hij de plaat niet redden. | |

These collaborations keep getting more bizarre, but at the very least, I think I prefer this to "Don't Wanna Know". In saying that though, is this a Maroon 5 song? Is there anyone else from Maroon 5 other than Adam Levine involved in the making of this? Because if so, I don't hear it. | |
Technically It's nice enough and I should probably enjoy it. I just don't feel any soul or even slight hints of happiness in it. Maybe it'll grow on me. | |

Vielleicht strafen sie mich ja irgendwann doch Lügen, aber für mein Empfinden krebst Maroon 5 momentan schon eher im Herbst der eigenen Karriere herum. Für mich unverständlich, diese tiefen Bewertungen. Einverstanden, sie klingen nicht mehr wie "Moves Like Jagger" oder "This Love", trotzdem liebe ich sie immer noch. Für mich ist "Cold" ganz klar besser als "Don't Wanna Know" und einfach wie gemacht für einen Hit. Future stört mich nicht, geht neben Adam direkt unter im Song. Ich kann einfach nicht anders als bei diesem Abschnitt immer mitzusingen: "Cold enough to chill my bones It feels like I don't know you anymore I don't understand why you're so cold to me With every breath you breathe I see there's something going on I don't understand why you're so cold" Einfach göttlich! :) Klar die Höchstnote von mir, 6*! | |

It's fair to say that, for around half a decade now, Maroon 5 have maintained a desperate approach in a bid to stay relevant enough to turn over hit after hit. This is just so far removed for me to get anything out of it, but it's not bad. Once again a talented feature artist not put to good use. 2.5 | |

I echo most people's sentiments that the Maroon 5 of today are a disappointment compared to their output in the 2000s. The release of their first album is well over half my lifetime ago now, and "Moves Like Jagger"'s release is getting closer in time to the release of said album than the present. But! Even though this song does sound rather cold, I've been liking it lately. It works better than "Don't Wanna Know" does, and the inclusion of Future here definitely sounds more useful than Kendrick's inclusion in that song.
